Professional Standards
The cases taken are legitimate
The activities carried out do not infringe upon the right to private, family, and intimate life, or other fundamental rights and freedoms.
The information obtained from the activities conducted by the private investigator is intended exclusively for their client, in accordance with the law.
Data and information obtained during the investigation can only be communicated, upon request, to judicial courts and the Public Ministry if they are useful for discovering the truth in ongoing cases.
In the course of their activities, the private investigator is subject to the law and the professional and ethical standards of the company.
In exercising their profession, the private investigator has the right to conduct investigations concerning individuals, properties, facts, data, and circumstances related to this activity, strictly respecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as legal provisions.
During an investigation, the private investigator may request information from individuals or public authorities which, according to the law, is not classified and does not infringe on the right to privacy or other fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual concerned.
The private investigator has the following obligations:
- To demonstrate integrity and professionalism, as their purpose is to uncover the truth in the case they were hired for;
- To use investigation methods and means that do not violate the law or citizens' rights and freedoms;
- To maintain professional secrecy, even after ceasing to be a private investigator, regarding the actions, facts, data, and circumstances they become aware of during their activities, except where expressly provided by law;
- To only use their status as a private investigator in the interest of service.
The private investigator is prohibited from conducting investigations regarding:
- The activities of staff from diplomatic and consular missions or from international organizations with similar status;
- The activities of individuals who, permanently or temporarily, act in the interest of public authorities, institutions, or other legal entities of public interest or in public services;
- Confidential data concerning political, religious, philosophical, or union beliefs and expressions of these beliefs, sexual orientation, health, or social or ethnic origin of a person;
- Ongoing criminal cases within judicial bodies;
- Specific activities conducted by institutions with duties in defense, public order, and national security.
In organizing and conducting its activities, our company has the obligation:
- To undertake investigations only based on a written agreement concluded with the client;
- To establish a numbered register and register it with the local police inspectorate or, as applicable, with the General Police Directorate of Bucharest, where the investigated cases are recorded;
- To communicate data and information requested by criminal investigation authorities, prosecutors, or courts;
- In cases where the obtained information concerns national security, to promptly notify the relevant authorities;
- To hire and use only those with the status of private investigators for specific investigative activities;
- To welcome students from schools of private investigation for practical training based on agreements, as possible.
The practice of the profession of private investigator is incompatible with:
- Paid work in other professions involving the exercise of public authority;
- Activities that influence the independence of the profession or contravene public morals;
- Direct handling of commercial acts, except those in line with the object of activity and fulfilling specific duties.

- Law no. 190 of July 18, 2018 on measures for the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);
- Government Ordinance no. 75/2000 regarding the organization of criminalistic expertise activity, approved with amendments by Law no. 488/2002 and amended and supplemented by Law no. 156/2011;
- The Code of Criminal Procedure.
