The administrative procedures and specific methods for searching missing persons are conducted according to the following principles:
- The best interest of the missing person – it is presumed that the missing person consents to the obtaining and use of data and information regarding their intimate, family, and private life, necessary for urgent activities aimed at contributing to their location;
- Confidentiality of data regarding private life – data and information regarding the intimate, family, and private life obtained by private detectives during the investigation for identifying a missing person are not intended for publicity and may only be disclosed to persons whose assistance is needed for the search process.
