The financial and tax due diligence department features an integrated team of specialists led by Daniela Buhuș.

She has excellent business insight with 18+ years of financial advisory and audit experience, covering a wide spectrum of industries: IT, business services, logistics, healthcare, consumer goods, energy, real estate, media and telecom, transport and logistics, agriculture, engineering and industrial products, etc. With 13 years of Big 4 experience, of which the last 4 as a Transaction Services Partner in KPMG Romania, Daniela is a skilled transactions professional with extensive M&A project management experience developed in more than 200 due diligence projects: buy-side/sell-side services, corporate/private equity, cross border transactions, privatizations.

She specializes in financial due diligence but has overseen tax, legal, commercial, environmental, IT due diligence work streams as a project leader.

In 2013 she became a freelancer, working for private equity portfolio companies on several local bolt-on acquisitions and post-acquisition projects, assisting large companies in Romania in their local acquisitions (horizontal and vertical integration), financial modelling and business plans preparation and review for existing companies as well as green fields, Board reporting implementation for three IT companies.

She is a Fellow ACCA member and a member of the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors (CAFR).
